Around our place

November 22nd, 2015

We’re in the final stretch of framing now!

The two paid framers finished their part of the work yesterday.

Our three oldest guys have been working hard all afternoon today, and then Daniel and Joshua plan to finish up tomorrow night when they get home from work.

On Tuesday, roofing begins!

Meanwhile, in another part of town…

…Lindsay and Laura spent the afternoon gathering black and white nature photographs for the walls in Josie and Laura’s room.

It was chilly and overcast, perfect weather for fall shots.

And they got some gorgeous shots!

The countdown continues.

Tomorrow, thirty days until Josie comes home!

Bless them for their hard work!

And I love the pink plaid coat (and the hair photo, so chic LOL) :) What a wonderful team effort from the ground up. People will walk in that room and just feel the love radiating from the walls!

Speaking of–I heard of someone else doing this too: Have everyone write a verse or a prayer on slips of paper and put them in the walls before the interior walls go up. :)

Very cool idea, Melissa! I like that! Thanks for sharing!

Jane’s been working hard on helping with what she loves to do–paint furniture and other furnishings! I haven’t gotten any photos because her work space is in our old, yucky basement with not-great lighting. But she’s doing a GREAT job!

Exciting!! Josie will be home before you know it!

Wishing you all a wonderful thanksgiving.
