Amazing!!  Love really does change everything, doesn’t it? :)

  2. Rebekah D. says:

Bless the Lord, O my soul,
and all that is within me,
        bless his holy name!
Bless the Lord, O my soul,
and forget not all his benefits,
        who forgives all your iniquity,
        who heals all your diseases,
who redeems your life from the pit,
who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy,
    who satisfies you with good
so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
    The Lord works righteousness
and justice for all who are oppressed.
    Psalm 103:1-6

  3. Chantal says:

  5. Kim says:

  7. MamaV says:

    Too cool! This is amazing!

  8. I wish I had done more and better stats with Katya when she first came home, but our lives were so overwhelmed by her needs emotionally and physically that we did not get all those figures. However, I can proudly state that she went from size 3T clothing that BAGGED AND SAGGED on her at 6.5 years of age, to wearing size 7/8’s in two years. ;-) And that was with multiple sicknesses and several surgeries that caused her to shed most of the weight she had gained up to each point  . . .
We are so happy that both our girls are growing!!! Love and good care is an amazing thing!

  9. Julia says:

What about bone density- do you do any repeat bone scans?

  11. Lori L says:

  12. Mary Winslow says:

Thank you for sharing your miracle with us! This post is filled with Hope, Glorious Hope that can only come from Him! NO man can take credit for what God has done in Katie’s life! Thank you for sharing that with us all! She’s absolutely beautiful and shines the light of the Lord in every photo! Thank you for obeying God as a family!

  13. Susanna says:

Julia, thanks for asking! Her first DEXA scan was in 01/12, and the result was -15 on the bell curve, anything -2 or lower being osteoporosis. Her first follow-up scan was in 01/13, and the result was -5 on the bell curve. We have kept her on the same regimen of high-quality, readily-bio-available supplements, high-protein diet, and IV treatments throughout this year. Her second follow-up DEXA scan is planned for 01/14, and we have high hopes that it will show her bones to be healthy and strong.

  14. Size 6!!! Holy cow!! LOL!! Praise God!! :o) She is so beautiful inside and out!

  15. I see your family as a haven of love where God’s love comes out of each face. No wonder Katie thrives! What a wonderful example of the culture of life you are!
