Mission successful.

October 8th, 2013

Tommy has a G-tube.

Best of all, after weeks of self-soothing tooth-grinding, he’s turning toward me when he feels pain, letting me comfort him when he’s hurting, reaching for my hand and falling asleep with his hand in mine.

Showing trust in the midst of unsettling weeks of this in-and-out-of-the-hospital thing.

It is a privilege to be your mama, sweet boy.  Lovey love.

Fills my eyes with tears and my heart with joy, that Tommy shows how much he trusts you and that nobody could take this ability from him, ever.
