Cherished Chad Hidden Treasures auction: It’s not too late!

October 1st, 2013

The bidding has begun!

Bidding opened on the Cherished Chad online adoption fundraiser auction at midnight last night and will continue throughout the week.

Come join the fun!

And I happen to know that some new items will be added to the auction in the next day or so, so don’t miss those.

That means it’s not too late to email Amy Rainey, our wonderful auction coordinator, with your donations to Chad’s auction!

NOTE:  If you’re new to the Pleven story, please read this story first:  The Story of Katie’s Adoption

The auctions were started two years ago this month to help families bring their children home from the Pleven baby house.  They’re held on the first seven days of every other month–February, April, June, August, October, and December.  This auction is something all of us can do to help.

This story has an ending.  We’re not there yet, but it’s getting closer!  There may not be many Hidden Treasures auctions left!  Did you know that more than fifty children with special needs, all of them “hard-to-place” or even “unadoptable” older children who suffered extreme neglect, are either home or close to coming home from Pleven?

This is the LORD’s doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes!

A big thank you to every one of you who has ever helped with a Hidden Treasures auction!  God used your obedience to give financial help and moral support to some very courageous families!

If you haven’t helped with an auction before, let this be your first time.  It’s a very fun way to raise funds!  Email Amy Rainey with a photo and/or description of your donated items or items:

Go on, do it!

Let’s stay this race until the end, friends!

Tiny Chad turns ten years old this year.  I love this boy and can’t wait to see him home with his family!
