Who, then, is the greatest?

September 23rd, 2013

Whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

And whoever welcomes one such child in My name welcomes Me.

As soon as I saw her photos, something hot and fierce rose up inside me.

I. just. can. not. stand. it. when. people. throw. away. people!

Her name is Salome.

Someone threw her away almost sixteen years ago.

Her society saw her as not worth loving, treated her unlovingly, and made her unlovely!

That can change!

Go back up and look at her photos again!  Imagine yourself standing next to her bed, lifting her up, and looking into her face!  She is a person!  She is alive!  She is a survivor who has never been given a chance!  I have stood next to the beds of little children like this, lifted them up, and looked into their faces.

They are not scary aliens, friends, they are vulnerable, hurt babies.

Salome is not a scary alien!  She is a vulnerable, hurt baby!

Nearly 100% of people in this world would say she was not worth the trouble.

My friends!!!  Do we agree with them???

Someone please see the value and potential of this human being!  If God opens your heart to her, I beg you, say yes to God and yes to her!

Whoever welcomes little Salome in Jesus’ name welcomes Jesus.

To Salome’s family…

I promise you, she will change your life in a way it needs to be changed.  Let Him do it.  No fear.

With love and tears,
Tommy and Katie’s mama
