Lo, how the plot doth thicken…

November 28th, 2012

Do you remember back when we had barely begun Tommy’s adoption, that I mentioned a little detail that could have stopped the whole adoption process right then and there?

And do you remember when I mentioned that there is a whole lot going on behin

d the scenes right now?

The time has come to tell you about one of the little details that has been going on behind the scenes of our family’s life.

At the same time that God unexpectedly opened the door for us to adopt one little boy…

…He unexpectedly opened the door of my womb to another little boy.

Yesterday Joe and I had the awesome privilege of getting a look at one active, sturdy little guy who was right on target for 18 weeks of pregnancy.

All these weeks, we have been preparing for the arrival of “twins,” a newborn and a sixteen-year-old, most likely coming into our family very close to the same time.

We are blessed!!!!!!!!

I was wondering if you could post the names and ages of your other children?  I’m just curious.

Congraulations on a wonderful double blessing!!!  In this world where so much consideration goes towards the convenience of the adults in a famiiy, it is a priviledge for me to witness a family saying “yes” to God and finding a way to make things work.  May God continue to bless you and all of your beautiful family!  :-)

  4. God is good! Another little boy to bless the world! (((HUGS)))

It’s so odd, this uncanny weird sense I have about things such as these. It’s become so odd, that I don’t even share anymore. Somehow, recently more than before, I had a sense that you were expecting!! The other day as I was looking at the recent pictures of little Verity i had a quick thought “I think the next baby will be another boy” and I knew it was either soon, or already in progress! I know this sounds crazy — but I’ve been right every single time in the past couple years whenever I have a premonition like this. Makes it even more weird since I am a complete and absolute stranger!
ANYHOW enough weirdo blabber! Sincere congratulations are due and if anyone can handle these twins, it would be you and your sweet family! I can’t wait for Thomas Christian to come home and to meet your newest little love as well.

So is it looking to be March or April when Thomas comes home too? ALL THE BEST! THanks you always for sharing your heart, your family and opening so many eyes and hearts with your dedication to this blog. I wish you all the best!!

Congratulations!  God is good!  My practical mama mind is wondering about your home!  I know you’ve mentioned that its not large. Where do you put all your sweet blessings and everything they require while maintaining your sanity??  :-)

i believe I have mentioned before that we live in central Maryland and I grew up on southwestern Berks county.  We were home for thanksgiving, as we drove through York/Lancaster on 30 and 222, I thought of your dear family.  Many blessings!
