Two more opportunities to help!

July 6th, 2012

Jon and Jennifer Menges are adopting a sweet little boy with mild special needs from Pleven.

His name is Ian, and his parents travel to visit him for the first time in about two weeks~

Jon and Jennifer received an offer that was cleverly designed to help get their adoption fully funded in short order, and could potentially benefit another adopting family.

Would you please consider reading about this offer on my friend Julia’s blog, and do what you can to help?

They’re so close to the finish line, and it would be great to see them cross it today.  Thank you so much for anything you do to help them!

The second opportunity?

Some of you know that if I hear you say, “I want to do more than just pray,” I will take issue with that statement!  There is no such thing as “just praying!”  God says the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective!  That is no small thing!

Today is the fifth birthday of little Ana Faith Kenyon!  Would you please click on the following link to leave a comment on the Kenyons’ blog to say Happy Birthday to Ana?  It’s super easy to comment on their blog!

And while you’re there, could you please let Mike and Gail know that you will pray for their long journey home to the US tomorrow, and for Ana’s transition to her new home and family?  No child can spend years in Pleven and be unaffected, and I know your prayers will give them a boost of encouragement as they learn to know their new daughter and learn how best to help her.  It is a beautiful thing to see Mike and Gail’s love and acceptance shining onto this precious girl!

Thank you so much, friends!

I am so nervous about the flights tomorrow and making it home. And then I got onto your blog and saw that you have asked people to pray! Thank you so much! You are such a blessing to us!

p.s. I will be e-mailing you with some questions when I get home :)

    Praying for you, Gail.
