Oh Susannah, bless you for posting this.  It brought me such a smile and a sense of joy – reinforcing the message from the sermon this morning at Church.  One thing that was said was about cultivating “an attitude of gratitude”.  You, your family, and Katie display that for me.  Thank you.

I have been following your blog since you went to pick up Katie and this is the first time I have commented. Seeing Katie enjoying being outside in the sunshine, swinging, barefoot and wearing a summer dress is absolutely delightful. She has been home such a short time, but look at her!  Happy, healthy and loved. Thank you, Susannah, for sharing your beautiful family through your blog. Tammy – Australia

I have looked at this picture many times over the past few days, it just makes me smile to see this little bundle of love and joy enjoying life, smiling and laughing and living. My 11 year old daughter and I are so taken by Katie’s story, it has really opened her eyes up to the fact that not all children live as she does and that she has so much to be thankful for. Thank you Katie and family.
