The life of one of the very tiny children at Katie’s orphanage is right now at stake.
This child’s family has not even made the first trip to Bulgaria yet.
I cannot say more. I am attempting to contact Dr. L of the hospital in Sofia.
Please intercede for this child’s life.
I’ll be praying.
Also, I know this usually isn’t the issue, but, if it’s a matter of paying a hospital bill (or guaranteeing payment in advance) to get the child the care they deserve, please let me know and I will give all that I can.

We are praying! I have not been reading this blog for long, but it has had a profound impact on me. My children cluster around to see the latest updates on Katie, and we are committed to pray every last child from Katie’s former orphanage home. We are begging God for His mercy concerning the precious child in danger.

Oh, my heart just sank. I’m praying as hard as I ever have (and that’s hard… when you’re on your knees, crying out to Jesus…)
When you talk to the doctor, or anyone else, tell them. We’ll move any mountain. We have God on our side. As another person said, if money is needed, for the hospital, for the orphanage, for the government… we’ll find it. I just put my first pennies in a collection jar for RR kids today. We, a community of love and a community under God, will move any mountain. All we need is a ‘yes’.
Dear precious little one, please hold on. So many people love you, though you don’t yet know it, and we just can’t wait to see you come home in the arms of your family. Hold on just a little bit longer, precious one. They are coming for you.
