So you can pray…

October 5th, 2011

After hearing from our attorney in Katie’s country this morning…

“My mom was at the court today and we have a judge assigned!  She’s very nice so now just pray she won’t [do something specific to delay the process].

Also, right now she is scheduling hearings for Oct.25.  I attached photos to my application, put in huge letters in bold my request to expedite the case…so let’s hope and pray she honors it and her heart is softened and touched by Katie’s condition and she appoints a
court date very soon.”

…and until we know the will of the Lord in the matter…

we are being bold to ask Him for a court date this week.

I have been glued to your blog for the past week. I am so thankful that a friend sent me the addy to it! What a joy to read about your family and the grace you have. The ups and downs and how they are handled have inspired and sparked my heart deeply. Thank you for allowing a glimpse into your life. Please know our family in Missouri is praying for yours! I want you to know that my 9 yr old daughter is deeply touched by what you are doing and oh so LOVES (like me) the pictures you post of the kids. She told me last night how she wished she could just cuddle Verity up and just kiss and kiss her! I totally agree with that ;) God bless you all..prayers for safe travels as well as that those travels are VERY VERY near!

  18. Susanna says:

Autumn, thank you so, so much for your encouraging words and for your prayers!

(We feel exactly the same way about Verity! She must get hundreds of hugs and kisses over the course of a day! The most cuddly baby we’ve ever had, by far!)
