Speaking of preparations…

August 27th, 2011

…after resting thoroughly since Thursday at suppertime, I woke up this morning in full throes of a sudden-onset and severe case of nesting.

Our household has been functioning peacefully…up until now…

  1. A friend said that adoption nesting is in my head.  I’m convinced it is REAL!  It is driving me nuts not being able to fully nest. LOL

I am Gail Kenyon’s twin sister and I just wanted to let you know that we have been lifting you, Katerina, and your entire family up to the Lord and praying that He works in MIGHTY ways as we trust He will.  He is faithful!!!  Thank you SO MUCH for the pictures of Daisey.  What a joy to be able to see her being loved on by a woman who had been praying for her and for my sister and her husband before any of us even knew all that God had in store for that precious little girl.  Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Looks like we’re nesting together then ;) I’ll be 36 weeks on Wednesday.

Such an exciting time! I am rejoicing with you as God brings your precious one into your arms to stay.

Oh my– Katrina gives us such inspiration, but so does sweet Verity!!!!  She gives me such inspiration for our little Joseph David who just turned one.  Look how beautiful her incision is healing– look at her standing and crawling.  LOVE your stories– Katrina has opened my heart in so many ways.  I never ever, ever thought about adoption until I read your blog.  I never, ever thought about adopting another baby with Down syndrome until I read your blog– God is GOOD!

Her crawling is so fantastic! Look at that girl go.
