We’re having too much fun!

June 8th, 2011

No, we have not heard anything from our USCIS officer today!

But now we are somewhat intrigued by what God may be doing.  The timing of this is beginning to look very interesting indeed.

Tomorrow and Friday, the Unnamed Important Person and a certain Board of Directors will be meeting.  During these two days, they will be considering a certain issue, and making a crucial ethical decision that will affect our adoption as well as many others to come.  We had previously thought that we would surely be past this point in our adoption by the time of this board meeting.  As it is, we can’t help but wonder if God held things off until now because He intends to use their decision in our adoption of Katerina.

I know this is so confusing, and I am truly sorry to have to be so cryptic!  I would dearly love to just explain it all right now!  But–someday!  Someday!

Oh!  And now that the Unnamed Important Person will be occupied for the rest of the week, we are not expecting to hear anything more from that direction until Monday.  [But if we do, we will be overjoyed!]

While we’re waiting, our family is not sitting around hoping for emails and phone calls!  We are too busy remembering what it’s like to have all kinds of summer fun together, and making plans for more!  And if you live nearby, chances are good that we will be bugging you at some random time to ask if you can join us (if we haven’t already! *wink, wink*)!  Consider yourself fairly warned!

You were at our favorite park!!  Gene took the kids down there for a quick swim before supper last evening:)  Such a refreshing place!

Ooooo ooo ooo….It looks like Poland!  Our creek behind our house…in Poland!  When will you be going again?  We want to go!  It is good I didn’t go this past time.  Mark did have me take Joel to therapy.  And he did not cooperate again.  Poor guy.  We just think that he needs a break!  He’s been working SO SO hard.  AND this mommy even decided to forget about schooling until the 17th.  Praise the Lord…one more day….tomorrow…and we close the books for awhile!  Ugh.  We need a break.  Joel knew that sooner than momma, but he’s sure right!  Clever child!

Tami, we sure are planning to go back! We didn’t go at all last year, so we’re making up for it now! (The five oldest went down during the littles’ afternoon siesta today!) Lord willing, it will work for both of us the same day next time!

Sandie, let’s meet there one of these days, once you’re done with hs evals! It would be fun to sit and chat!

Kendra, wish you lived closer! :D

I wonder if you would mind emailing me the location of that park?  I would love to take my children there!  Looks like a very fun day!
