God has made a way!

June 14th, 2011

Last Friday, when I got off the phone with our officer, and I knew she was looking over The Letter, my emotions welled up and spilled over.  Later I gave some thought to the first aching cry that came out of my mouth to the Lord along with my groans and sobs.

“O LORD!!!  Hear the prayers of your people!!!  Hear and answer!!!”

And then I couldn’t find any more words.

Why did I pray this?  I’m not sure where it came from.  I don’t remember ever praying this before.

But God did hear, and He has had mercy, and He has answered our prayers.  He has answered them in a way that we could not have foreseen.

We just heard the good news!

A different letter is being drafted right now for our officer, and as soon as we review it, it can be faxed to her.  And it contains all the information that she said she needed in order to issue our approval.

[We will wait to do our serious celebrating until we actually have that approval.  But today…]

Rejoice with us!!!

God has again gone before us and opened hearts and changed minds and directed decisions.  People simply can not and do not trump what God intends to accomplish!  We do not need to fear that they ever will!  No fear!

And we are standing in humility and awe before Him today as it is sinking in to our minds how He is crafting the timing of this story with stunning perfection!  We do not need to fear that He will flub this up!  No fear!

No fear!!!

I hate like anything to have to say this, but we are on our honor not to give any more details, even to our friends and relatives, until we have express permission.  I hate even more to have to say this, but that permission might be years away!  So the details will have to wait on the back burner with the other amazing details of this story that have not yet been publicly told!

But what we can tell you is that God has heard the prayers of His people and opened the way before us!

Share it!

Thank you dear Jesus!….I knew He would do this….Katerina is close to His heart, a daughter of the King & He has put her in all of your hearts….you are obediently opening your lives to this precious orphan who desperately needs to be part of your family.
