Adjective: (of a deity) Having unlimited power; able to do anything.
Yesterday morning, we learned that our family’s file had not yet been assigned to a USCIS officer. We are still boldly asking our all-powerful Father to assign us to His perfect choice, and cause our officer to provide our approval quickly.
We have been working on our dossier, and plan to go to Harrisburg early next week to apostille everything except for our I797 approval from the USCIS. We can apostille that as soon as possible after we receive it, but this way Stephanie can have the rest of our dossier ready ahead of time. Last night, we learned that some changes are being made to part of the dossier process that we completed back in January! The new process is not yet being consistently implemented, so Stephanie has advised us to go ahead and see if it will go through the old way. If not, we will have to start that process from the beginning, adding weeks of delay. I know this may be confusing, so I will sum it up–we are boldly praying that the State Department would apostille our dossier next week without challenge!
Thank you, friends, for standing with us as we keep on asking, keep on seeking, and keep on knocking!
Behold what the omnipotent hand of our God can do if He so pleases…
“The words of the Holy One, the True One, who has the key of David, who opens and no one will shut, who shuts and no one opens…behold, I have set before you an open door, which no one is able to shut.”
