If God said YES…

January 14th, 2011

If God said “Yes…”

…to even a handful…

…of the hundreds and hundreds of prayers…

…that have been prayed for Verity…

…and for us…

…by the hundreds and hundreds of other Samaritan members…

…our brothers and sisters in Christ…

…who helped us pay Verity’s medical bills…

…so we had no debt and no need for government help, just as we had prayed…

…what would that look like?

Is it any wonder…

…that our family will never…

…never…

…never…

…never again see the body of Christ…

…as we saw it before?

Jesus Christ…

…is still…

…the HEAD…

…of HIS church!

So wonderful! You should consider sending Samaritan’s the picture of Verity with all the cards. I’m sure all the members would love to see it!! (I always wished that we would get your name one month…)

Oh how wonderful to have tangible evidence of the prayers and love on Verity’s behalf!  And to know that is only a fraction of the petitions for her!  Cause that doesn’t count mine :)  Sweet pictures surrounded by love!

Simply amazing.  That’s how it is supposed to work isn’t it?  How many prayers were prayed, are being prayed for your little girl?  I know our family has prayed often, and those stacks of cards should always be a reminder of God’s faithfulness, His care, His love for you and your family.
    Wow.
You should send those pictures on to Washington.

WOWZIE!  What an amazing experience this has been watching your little Verity’s life unfold.  I just keep thinking “Imagine all those prayers in those cards.. and then add the prayers from the blog… A-MAZ-ING!!!!”  What a blessed little girl Verity is to have prayers going up on her behalf from all over!  We love praying for you from Virginia!

This has to be one of my favorite posts.  It BLESSED my heart to see those letters and read about the prayers going up for her.  Praise Him!

Jessica, I hoped we’d see a familiar Momys family among the cards, but maybe God was spreading the prayers out among more people! We figured out that in 2010, we received help from about 10% of the total Samaritan membership, including the president of Samaritan and many staff members whose names we recognized. What an amazing and humbling experience it has been! I am hoping to write up Verity’s story and send it in with pictures!
