I have an online friend named Patti. She loves to write, and keeps a blog, like I do. She and her husband are Christians, like we are. They have ten children, like we do. Seven boys and three girls, like we have. They even home school, like we do!
And, no kidding, their youngest is a baby girl–with Down syndrome! Just like ours! Except their baby is an almost-eleven-month-old Lily and ours is a five-and-a-half-month-old Verity.
She has written two blog posts that I’d like to share with you. If you don’t want to hear the music on her blog, either turn the sound off on your computer, or scroll down to the bottom of her blog page and turn off her music player.
One is titled, “Thankful for You,” and on it she interviewed eleven mothers, including me, who have a child with Down syndrome. [You Momys friends have probably already read this one!] If any of you are still skeptical that having a child with Down syndrome could REALLY be a blessing, these interviews are especially for you!
The other post is titled, “The Most Important Post I Have Ever Written.”

I am so thankful that you posted this link to Olga. How could you not respond to that innocent face? I am too old to adopt no doubt but I will pray that some time soon she will find a loving home with the help of all these donations.
Thank you for posting this, Susanna!!!
(I hope my music isn’t offensive though)
Verity’s aunt is so sweet- you are blessed to have such kind relatives!!
Thank you, Aunt Mary!! I completely agree!
Patti, it’s just that I can’t listen while reading or writing, and thought maybe someone else might be that way. No worries! :)
(See what I mean about giving the iPod back to you!)
Oh, and another reason–I often open more than one site at once, and music complicates that habit in amusing ways! Lol!
I do the same with everybody else’s music but mine, lol:)
