I bow down

December 22nd, 2010

Some of you knew that a certain financial action needed to take place by the end of this year.  We found out about it last Wednesday, exactly one week ago.

Between my ecstatic state and the need to be circumspect, I hope enough of this message gets through that it makes some kind of sense!

That financial action ran into bureaucratic regulations.  We were told that it couldn’t happen without the approval of a certain board, and that this board’s next meeting isn’t scheduled until January.  That one bit of red tape could have consequences reaching farther than anyone on that board could possibly have known.

But we are getting to the point of being more excited the more impossible a situation seems to be!  YAY!!!  We get to see God do the impossible!!!

This morning, we explained the situation to the powers that be, and appealed to them to reconsider.  But it was out of our hands, out of our ability to control.

The gentleman I spoke with said, “I’ll go to bat for you, and see if we can get you guys a Christmas miracle.”

Not too long afterward, we found out–God has moved another mountain!

We need to sign something and email it to this office tonight for the board members to sign tomorrow.

We thought we had until the end of the year, which is the end of next week.  But…

Tomorrow is the last day all the board members will be in the office until the New Year!!

So this is a busy day.  I will be leaving in about five minutes to take Verity to her follow-up visit with Dr. Chowdhury, and six month checkup with Dr. Strauss.

But today, on the inside, I am on my face before the Living God!!!

**Happy tears** I remember that exact same feeling when we moved to this house (or were in the works to do so) and rejoicing at the impossibilities arising before us. It is SUCH an awesome place to be, beholding Him working on our behalf.

    SOOOOOOOOOOO excited for you!!!!!!!!!!
